The nervous system can be directly accessed and corrected, in respect to hidden emotional energy imbalances in your mind/body. There are means of communicating with the unconscious. At the heart of the matter is fact that the mind and body work in harmony and by tuning into the body at specific points, the workings of the unconscious mind can be contacted.

Then, with precise techniques, the emotional blocks are readjusted and the emotional energy is free to flow. Conscious thinking gets in the way of any intervention by choosing the emotions and experiences that it wants to access from the unconscious.

Consequently, it is necessary to get beyond these conscious processes. Once beyond that, the unconscious will be more open to intervention. Therefore, the most effective method for getting through and beyond the conscious thinking processes will affect you in the most positive way causing a transformation.

I believe that people are not broken or damaged. You do not need fixing. I feel that you have the resources that you need in order to change. It is simply a matter of taking those feelings, attitudes, beliefs, and emotions that are stopping you, and reversing your response to them. It alleviates you so that you can deeply feel the opposite of that which has been holding you back.

Physical and mental health are related to positive beliefs, whereas dis-ease, both physical and mental, is related to negative patterns and hooked into self-talk about resentment, jealousy, hostility, self-pity, fear, anxiety, and more. Chronic engagement with these unconscious or semi-conscious beliefs results in ill health and a gross weakening of one's personal power.

For those of us who are drawn to the idea of self-help and self empowerment, there is a mind-bogglingly easy way to learn a system that literally helps you tap into your personal power and healthy dreams and choices. I can tell you for sure, that it has saved me from many bad days. It may help you too.

Why have a bad day if you can get out of your "funk" in 3 minutes? Dr. Alan Beardall, the Clinical Kinesiolgy hero, saw our body as a computer that can be rebooted, de-installed, re-installed, and restarted.

Brad Yates has taken this concept into the realm of self-help and self empowerment. He calls it "Money Beyond Belief" and it is about a lot more than money.

All you can do in this life is be who you are, without shame, without self-criticism, without apologies, and with integrity. I wish that for every single person. I believe in you, and I know you do too. Maybe Brad can help you get rid of bad days and moments, by connecting to the real you. Cheers.

Here are 5 totally fun ways to SUPERCHARGE your games so that even the most ordinary game will be super fun.

Plus I'm going to give you an exclusive Birthday Movie Adventure activity that will get your child and their guests really excited. But more on this fun activity in a moment.

Did you know that it's not always the games you play, it's also how you play them?

Supercharge Your Games With Enthusiasm

With your house or yard full of active children looking for fun, YOU need to be enthusiastic, because enthusiasm is contagious! That's right, if you're just going through the motions walking through your party activities, your guests will quickly get bored.

But if you're enthusiastic, you can even get everyone excited over a ho hum game of Old Maid if you really try.

Remember, it's your child's birthday party and you want it to be great. So let's get excited and have fun with it.

Supercharge Your Games With Music

Does your child's party have a theme?

With a party theme you can pick up a music soundtrack CD from the movie, TV show or whatever your theme is based on.

Play your theme music every time you start a game and you'll notice that your guests will really get into your party theme. If your theme is Star Wars, the theme song from that movie is exciting and very recognizable. The music from Cinderella will charm any princess. And for younger children, upbeat kid's music is just right.

Supercharge Your Games With Exciting Titles

Do you think your child and their party guests would rather play Hot Potato, or "the Amazing Hot Potato Game?" Your guests will get all fired up when you announce that everyone is going to play an "amazing game" of anything.

How bout these supercharged game titles

  • Incredible Musical Statues
  • Sock Mania

Supercharge Your Games With Theme Related Titles

Simon Sez is a favorite game, but you can easily supercharge it by relating the game to your birthday theme. For example, if your child's theme is Spider Man, make it "Spider Man Sez." Or if your theme is Shrek, make it "Shrek Sez."

By making this simple change, everyone will get excited.

Pin the Tail on the Donkey is another favorite that you can easily customize to your theme. For a Star Wars theme we put together "Pin the Tail on the Wookie" and our son loved it. For a princess theme you can play "Pin the Tiara on the Princess."

    Trail Crew Sock

Thanks to Coolmax and our special blend of cotton and polyester, these Trail Crew Socks will keep your feet warm and dry all day long whether you're hiking through the woods or speed walking your way to work. Imported.

People have an irrepressible yen to travel. We painstakingly save money to wayfare at least once a year. We sweat and slave hard and long to sock away some funds to afford that oasis of respite after all. Naturally, we want to have the best for less. We desperately are in constant search for a decent travel package; and we have some comfort requirements that we want to fit into that constricted budget.

With the onslaught of travel websites and online consolidators, searching for a budget travel package has become more of a pain in the neck. Thousands of travel deals are now accessible online that we can book at the click of a mouse. Our task now is to find the best one from a variety of choices that will conform to our budget and points of interest.

Here are some important tips to consider to make your shopping less grueling and more fun:

    1. Subscribe to different e-newsletters.

Travel agencies, tour operators, airlines and travel sites have newsletters that are accessible by email where they publish their latest deals.

    2. SHOP.

That means, shop literally. Do not stop at one or two websites. Check many travel sites for their special deals.

    3. Consider off-season travel.

Ascertain off-season times for travel which can be a lot cheaper than traveling during the peak season. Summer and fall are off-season for Caribbean trips; and so is winter for Europe. It is less expensive to purchase a theme park package within the school year too.

    4. Go over your newspaper's travel section.

You can find numerous ads for the best deals in your newspaper's travel section. Call and ask for the expiration of such deals that catch your interest and see if it will correspond to your intended travel times.

    5. Book early.

Significant discounts are offered by cruise and tour operators for early bookings. If you have the funds at hand and you are positive about your choice, be a johnny-on-the-spot and book in advance.

    6. Take advantage of all possible discounts you can get.

Membership with AAA and other affiliations give out travel discounts. Do not forget the frequent flyer miles that you may have accumulated. If you are a senior, there are a lot of cut-rates available for the taking.

    7. Search thru travel websites.

Indicate your travel means and needs, and the travel sites will correlate with your requirements. Some of them will even email you when they have deals compatible with what you are looking for. Also inquire for details and information that will help you reach a smart travel decision (e.g. what days are airfares cheaper? when are companion fares offered? what type of tour package can my budget afford?)

    8. NEGOTIATE.

Don't be embarrassed to ask for discounts. Negotiate aggressively for a better price. Be sure to get the most for your money's worth. You don't see each other's faces, anyway. There's nothing to lose and no face to save! Work it out with the travel agent.

When you are traveling and you are not spending extravagantly - when you are sure that your trip is cut-and-dried and economical, you will definitely have a superb time out there.

    Fallen Mens Socks Trademark White

One pair of crew socks with woven logos.

Of all natural disasters, drought is the most lethal. As the global warming becomes more pronounced and more areas are cleared of forests it is also becoming more common. In the last two years, 2006 and 2007, many areas of the world have become victim of drought. As drought becomes more prevalent and more severe what can we look forward to?

The first and most obvious effect of drought is hunger and famine. As water becomes too scarce to support crops, food becomes scarce. What food there is becomes so highly prices as to preclude many from purchasing it. Migration of people in areas where drought has left people hungry can strain resources in other areas into which masses of people migrate seeking relief.

As food supplies become more scarce conflicts can arise between peoples and nations attempting to acquire food and water supplies. Fights for water rights can lead to wars and thirsty deaths of masses who have limited finances to afford increasing water prices. Disease can proliferate as clean water supplies for drinking and cleaning dry up. As green areas dry, fires become more prevalent destroying forests and crops alike.

If natural dangers to our water levels are not frightening enough, we now have the situation that municipal water systems are being bought by multinational corporations, not only in America but other countries as well. With drought becoming a more prevalent problem, we are now also faced with corporations who can charge unconscionable prices for water or worse, deny it completely.

Earth is also experiencing uncontrolled human population growth which, even without drought, is putting a strain on clean water supplies and causing increasing pollution of existing water systems. While people may argue until they are blue in the face that the amount of water on the planet is not changing, their arguments do not explain how we will use polluted water sources or buy water from greedy corporations who own municipal water rights when they decide to start spiking prices to points people can no longer afford to buy this necessity.

Even with planning, a few more bad drought years will cause massive chaos, famine, and death if water usage is not brought into immediate control. What can we do to help ourselves? Plenty. Many first line defenses are available and it is up to each one of us to begin measures to conserve water.

    1. Check your faucets and pipes. If there is a leak, fix it.

    2. It's time to chuck out the toys that run on flows of water. Let the kids find another toy to play with.

    3. Lobby your municipalities to discontinue poisoning water to "purify" it. Fluoride and chlorine are poison and produce other poison by products. Water can be cleaned better and more safely using non-toxic methods.

    4. Water your lawn only as necessary and never use a thin spray. Most of the water from thin sprays evaporate rather than going to nourish plants.

    5. Wash your car at car washes that recycle water rather than at home. If you do wash a car at home, park it on the lawn where the water can do your grass some good.

    6. Don't leave water running in the shower or sink while washing. Wet down and turn the water off while you scrub up, then turn it back on when you rinse.

    7. Put out containers that will catch rain water. Use this water for lawns and gardens or washing cars.

    8. Do not pour your dishwater down the drain - use it for your lawn. You can apply this measure for bath water as well.

    9. Make sure you are using non-toxic cleaning and personal care products. The less we pollute the water, the easier it will be to clean and reuse it.

    10. Store backup water supplies. You should have a supply of water stored for all emergencies anyway. Please note to rotate your supply so it doesn't get too old. Replace each jug of stored water at least every 6 months. If you have the room for one you might consider putting a small water tower in your backyard. A tower can also be used to catch rain water. Make sure your tank has a removable top and a screen cover to keep debris out when you use it to catch rain water.

    11. Invest in products that help recycle water. One third of water used in most households goes for flushing toilets. You can now buy products that will recycle sink and bath water for use to flush toilets. Other innovative products which save water are also available as science turns technology to the task of cleaning and conserving our resources. Help yourself and whole communities by installing products that recycle the water you use.

    12. Don't forget that one other disaster that accompanies drought is famine. You can grow food efficiently using hydroponics with very little space and save much water by doing so. Hydroponic gardening solves many of the usual problems of food production and is easy and inexpensive.

    13. Buy water rights for your own property. That way if there is a crackdown by greedy corporations you can fight them.

Just because you have plenty of water today does not mean that endless supplies will be available to you in the near future. Only by adopting conservative attitudes towards our water and food supplies today can we hope to meet the oncoming water crisis of tomorrow. Make sure you tell your legislators how you feel about them selling your municipal water supplies today. Set up town meetings to discuss how your community plans to meet water shortages and what they are doing about cleaning water sources to keep them drinkable in the future. We might not be able to completely escape draught, but together we can work to make sure most will survive one.

It is well known that sailors in ancient times poured various types of oil on the water in an attempt to calm the seas. Did it work? Well, either thru superstition, luck or a bit of reality, they believed it did. Crude Oil on water theoretically will spread out to one-molecule thick and prevent evaporation. This has been tried with limited or barely moderate success in modern times.

Others have suggested throwing polymer balls that absorb 2000 times their own weight in water and then decompose within 3-days to a harmless form thanks to the salt water and the wave affect of the ocean. One scientist claims that throwing sawdust into a Hurricane is the way to kill it and even if it were, throwing more debris into a Hurricane to be spread around is only one more way to put pollution into the environment.

It seems the arrogance of those who wish to pollute has reached the pinnacle of arrogance - Let's just throw all the debris into a Hurricane and watch it circulate and dissipate. As if the solution to pollution is dilution using a giant washing machine created by Mother Nature and thus, one has to ask what will they think of next? Shooting our garbage into the sun or burying it on the moon?

Indeed, I for one have come to the opinion that polluters will try anything to hide their reality, but I also hope that the winds of change are coming and that the next Hurricane might blow all of them out to sea, for free fish food. Sincerely, Lance.

Some Violent Winds of the World

It is the global air patterns that give rise to the principal wind systems on earth, such as the westerlies, the trade winds and the polar easterlies. These global patterns also influence some of the smaller scale winds such as the monsoon. But at a much smaller and local scale there are a large number of strong and often violent winds caused by local, and sometimes unique, topography and climatic conditions or by the interaction of large scale weather systems with local landmasses.

In 1981, after extensive research on damaging thunderstorm winds, Dr. Fujita (who also developed the Fujita Tornado Damage Scale) coined the term 'Downburst' to describe a type of destructive wind associated with a thunderstorm.

The microburst is a downburst which is confined to a small area, less than 4 km (2.5 miles) in diameter from the initial point of downdraft impact. An intense microburst can result in damaging winds near 270 km/hr (170 mph).

Downbursts occur in a severe thunderstorm where the air is accelerated downward by exceptionally strong evaporative cooling or by very heavy rain which drags dry air down with it. When the rapidly descending air strikes the ground, it spreads outward in all directions.

Dr. Fujita has defined downbursts as a surface wind in excess of 39 mph caused by a small-scale downdraft from the base of a convective cloud.

The damage caused by a downburst is frequently mistaken for a tornado, particularly directly beneath the downburst. However, damage patterns of a downburst are distinguished away from the impact area by characteristic straight-line wind damage rather than the twisted pattern of tornado damage.

The Chinook wind provides a welcome respite from the long winter along the eastern slopes of the Rockies. The change in temperature that the Chinook brings can be a dramatic one. On Jan. 11, 1983, the temperature in Calgary rose 30 degrees C (from 17 degrees C to 13 degrees C) in just 4 hours, and on February 7, 1964, the temperature rose 28 degrees C (51 degrees F).

Moist weather patterns originate off the Pacific coast and cool as they climb up the western slopes of the Rockies. As they drop down the eastern side of the mountains they rapidly warm and increase in speed, bringing a pleasant warm and breezy flow to the cold residents of the eastern Rockies. The Chinook will begin with a sudden change in wind direction towards the west or southwest and a rapid increase in speed.

Peter Mayle, the author of 'A Year in Provence' described the Mistral as a "brutal, exhausting wind that can blow the ears off a donkey". The Mistral blows as often as 100 days of the year, gusting to force 10 and above.

A complex set of conditions gives rise to a Mistral. When a high-pressure settles on the plateau of the Massif Central, and a low-pressure system lies over the Mediterranean, the cold mountain air can begin to flow downhill, accelerating as it thunders through the gap of the Rhine valley, before it turns and heads eastward up the coast. Most tourists miss the winter worst of the Mistral, when the wind pours down the Rhine valley during the winter months, a relentless icy flow blows that can last a fortnight. The Mistral is also common in spring, and can affect even a Summer break.

The Fohn is a dry, warm lee wind, it is the name of the wind that blows in the European Alps, but now is used generically for any similar lee wind. Much like the Chinook, the Fohn gains its warmth from the air being compressed as it descends down the lee side of a mountain range or slope. It is also often blamed for symptoms such as headaches and depression among people living in its path.

The Sirocco blows hot and dry out of North Africa and is caused by a strong southerly wind forming ahead of a depression moving into the central Mediterranean. The Sirocco can be very hot and dry and often carries Saharan dust. If the conditions are right these winds blow across the Mediterranean picking up moisture from the sea and by the time they reach Europe they bring warm, humid air and low cloud.

These are some of the more famous local winds, but examples can be found throughout the world. For instance a sea breeze may occur on a clear sunny day. As the sun heats the land, the land heats up much more quickly than the sea causing the air to rise over land and the cooler sea air to rush in and fill the gap. At night the reverse may happen and is known as a land breeze.

Dekline Pence Argyle Men's Socks - White / Brown

    Features:-80% acrylic / 20% nylon blend-Half terry foot

As the cost of electricity continues to skyrocket consumers are looking for new ideas to help get the most value out of their appliances. This includes the electric clothes dryer.

Although consumption cannot be lowered there is a device to take advantage of the heat it produces. It is called a dryer heat recycler. It has proven to be a winner in the fight to be more energy efficient.

A heat recycler does just what its name indicates. It allows the warm air from the household electric clothes dryer to be redirected back into the laundry room. This is an added bonus if the laundry room is in a cold basement. Plus the heat is free.

The theory behind the recycler is simple. It uses the hot air from the electric dryer to heat the laundry room. In this way the room vent can be closed down. Hence lowering your heating costs.

The element in an electric dryer is approximately 5000 watts. This is equivalent to a couple of baseboard heaters. The temperature of the air leaving an electric dryer is about 130 degrees Fahrenheit. So why waste it - instead, put it to work for you.

For an investment of about $15 the hot air your dryer normally dumps outside can be directed back into the house. We have been successfully suggesting these to clients for years.

There is a plastic handle on the side to direct the air either inside or outside. In the winter months the handle is adjusted to direct the hot air into the house. In the summer the air is directed back outside.

The heat recycler is easy to install. It is usually mounted (screws are provided) to a wall or beam behind, and slightly above, the dryer console area. Once mounted the dryer venting can be cut and reattached to the device. Follow the instructions to maintain proper airflow direction. The recycler does have an "in" and an "out". Always mount the recycler for easy access by all family members. If mounted in an awkward place no one will clean the filter.

Before purchase make sure the model you buy comes complete with two venting clamps. Some less expensive ones don't include the clamps. Clamps are vital for a proper installation. Do not be tempted to attach the venting sections to the recycler with duct tape. It will dry out and cause the venting to fall off. If required invest in two good quality metal vent clamps. A couple of four-inch clamps will cost about three dollars.

The recycler has a built-in filter screen that needs to be cleaned just like the one inside the dryer. We prefer the type that has a mesh screen filter as opposed to the one with a sock-like filter. It is a couple of dollars more but the metal filter is more durable and a lot easier to clean than the cotton type.

So once the recycler is mounted and secured give it a test run. Set the temperature selector to hot and start dryer. Allow dryer to run a few minutes. Test that the air comes inside when the handle is in the winter position. Next, move handle to summer position. Air should then be seen to go outdoors. Go outside and confirm air freely escapes outdoors. If not the screen in the outdoor vent cap may be blocked with lint. Or the vent cap flapper valve may be sticking. Go back indoors and test all joints for air leakage. If leaking air, tape joints with duct tape.

From then on all that is required is to clean the heat recycler filter every few laundry loads. Plus, twice a year turn the handle to redirect the airflow. Not much work to get all that nice free hot air for your home.

Note that throughout this article I have been using the term electrical clothes dryer. The heat recycler cannot be used with a gas clothes dryer. The venting pipe of a gas dryer must not be opened or redirected. Small amounts of gas vapour and carbon monoxide may be present in the outlet air of a gas clothes dryer. Therefore, for safety reasons, the heat recycler cannot be used with a gas dryer.

TECHNICIANS HINT: Experience has taught us not to mount the recycler directly above the start switch of the dryer. This avoids the recycler giving you a blast of hot air in the face every time the dryer is started.

    Keep your socks on!

    For folks living in the Northeastern United States the 2007 winter has come early and hard. So much so that many Presidential Campaigners are calling it quits for their primary precinct canvassing. Those presidential campaigns that persist do so at the risk of freezing their supporters or even causing death. The roads are icy and the snow is piling up. Some residents in New Hampshire say we are being bombarded with BS and Snow;

I do not think we can take much more of this - the weather or the election

    Bankers and mortgage companies as well as consumers are worried that the high usage for heating fuel, namely propane and natural gas will spike, which only adds to the already shaky mortgages that are in near foreclosure already. If people cannot afford to heat their homes, they surely cannot afford the mortgage and this has many analysts worried. One voter asked a campaign gang that came to their neighborhood;

Oh yah, what is your candidate going to do about that?

She was talking about the weather, cost to heat her home, the mortgage crisis and the barrage of ads on her TV set. She was upset that they came to ask her for her vote, but no help in the real problems and crisis that average Americans face. "Only more promises" she said, as usual. She wonders if the weather will bring downed power lines next, which she said would be a welcome as she would not have to watch all those political commercials either.

Online stores are open 24 hours. You can shop anytime from anywhere you want making it extremely appealing to do your shopping after the kids go to bed (avoiding the whole peek-a-boo in the shopping racks or hide from mommy games), shop on your lunch hour, first thing in the morning or just between classes.

    Save Frustration

No more waiting in sale lines at the dressing rooms and cashiers, hunting for parking spots, fighting the crowds, going from mall to mall to visit the 'next' store, dealing with poor customer service and stressed out shoppers.

Get the exact item you are looking for without having to rummage through racks for sizes, styles and colors.

    Better Information

Get detailed measurement information without having to lug armfuls into the dressing room to try three sizes of the same article on (your size, plus one larger, one smaller). Stores will have a size chart you can refer to for the items you're shopping for. Some stores offer brand/style specific charts to be sure and check the exact item you're interested in and see if it has its own sizing chart for a great fit.

No more searching for clothing labels to find out what the size and fabric care information is only to see it is not what you are looking for.
